OVK is seeking for applicants who would like to obtain practical work experience through on-the-job training as a means to increase their chances of employment. The OVK Apprenticeship seeks enthusiastic and vibrant high school graduates who are eager to embark on a career path within the motors department.

Responsibilities

• Selected candidates will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training tailored to enhance their proficiency in a specialized field while also acquiring additional skills
• Upon successfully finishing the program, participants will be awarded a certificate delineating their attained level of competency and will be formally registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF), thereby validating their expertise and facilitating their professional advancement

Qualifications

• Complete Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science, or hold an N2 qualification
• Possess a valid driver’s license, which will be considered an advantage
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
• Utilise computer applications effectively, including Microsoft Office
• Apply solid numerical and analytical skills in daily tasks
• Exhibit strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Perform efficiently and remain focused in high-pressure environments
• Maintain positive and effective interpersonal relationships
